We’re grateful that the team at Sol & Luna gave us the trust and freedom to build everything for their brand- starting at the very foundation with the process of developing a name for the entire project.
We chose the name Sol & Luna because it perfectly encapsulates the feeling of daytime activity and nighttime relaxation that guests will enjoy on the property and in Round Top, TX. Sol and Luna is a destination for both play and rest–where friend groups, couples, and families will get to unwind in luxurious casitas among the trees.
Our team jumped at the chance to adorn the visual identity with botanical illustrations, ornate patterns, and simple one-liners that speak to the attitude of enjoyment. We dug up writing from the archives of Clara Rummel, a poet from Round Top, to inspire art that will be hung in the interior spaces.
The net product of this type of work is creating a seamless experience. Taking every opportunity to surprise and delight customers results in memorable interactions, so that joy, warmth, and relaxation become actual things patrons experience rather than just buzzwords on a mission statement.
