Problems/Goals
This team of restaurant veterans wanted to bring a fully-authentic Brazilian gaucho experience to central Texas — an experience that would outpace anything else offered in the area. These gauchos (cowboys) cut the perfectly cooked meats straight from the skewer. The client needed a brand identity system that conveyed inclusive warmth (as though the patrons had entered their private estate), fine dining (white tablecloth), and the gaucho culinary tradition. It needed to feel natural, seamless, and accessible — but with valet parking and hard to source imported cigars for their discerning clientele!
Proposed Solution
We would start, as we always do, with brand and message development as a foundation upon which to build their market-facing presentation. The client determined the name ‘Casa do Brasil,’ and they drew from their decades of experience in other establishments concerning offered menu items, bar offerings, and training protocols. They needed a visual identity, help with menus and printed goods, a website, full media, and digital marketing support once the components were in place. The more we got to know these clients, the more the excitement built to their grand opening.
Concept/Process
Rather quickly, we refined their branded assets and moved into production. Their coming-soon website, exterior signage, and experience videos must build anticipation as the launch date approached. All restaurants take time to hammer out their menus, and Casa was no different. It had to be right, and their expansive wine menu varied according to availability, which presented challenges for the client. They were great; they persevered, and our team was delighted to be a part of this landmark restaurant with a bright future.
Response/Results
Casa do Brasil is thriving. With a quality team buzzing through that restaurant, it’s no surprise. The videos and digital marketing are performing better than we could have ever expected and the picanha slices continue to delight happy (and returning) customers.
